SAVE MONEY AND TIME BY INSTALLING ARTIFICIAL GRASS

Artificial Grass: A Low-Cost, Low-Maintenance Solution For UK Homeowners

Spring is just around the corner and as the cost of living in the UK continues to rise, homeowners are looking for ways to save money wherever they can while thinking about how to keep their gardens and patios looking great. This is an area where they could make significant savings when it comes to maintenance. According to a recent survey, the average UK homeowner spends over £1,100 per year on garden maintenance, including lawn care, plant care, and general upkeep.

Artificial Turf as a Cost-Effective and Low-Maintenance Option.

However, with the growing popularity of artificial grass, homeowners now have a low-maintenance, cost-effective alternative that can save them both time and money. Not only does artificial grass require minimal upkeep, but it also looks great year-round, providing a lush, green lawn without the need for regular watering, mowing, or fertilizing.

Another advantage of artificial grass is its cost-effectiveness. Although the initial installation cost of artificial grass can be higher than that of natural grass, the long-term savings on maintenance costs can make it a more cost-effective option in the long run. A study by LazyLawn found that the average UK homeowner spends around £1,100 per year on lawn maintenance, including mowing, fertilising, and watering. In contrast, the maintenance cost of artificial grass is minimal, with occasional brushing and cleaning required to keep it looking its best. This means that homeowners can save money on their water bills and avoid the need to purchase expensive lawn care equipment over time.

Enhance Well-being with a Stunning Artificial Grass Landscape

According to new research released by Mind, spending more time outdoors since the pandemic has had a positive impact on the nation's mental health. The study coincides with the mental health charity's garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022, which has been designed by RHS Chelsea gold medal winner, Andy Sturgeon. The survey, conducted by Censuswide, involved 1,000 people in the UK and found that since the pandemic, over 7 million people have benefited from taking up gardening for the first time, while over 3 million have benefited from moving out of urban areas to get access to outdoor space or a garden. Additionally, over 7 million people have found that their mental health has improved by connecting with people outdoors, such as speaking to their neighbours over the fence.

Overall, the research conducted by Mind and Censuswide suggests that spending more time outdoors has had a positive impact on the nation's mental health during the pandemic. This highlights the importance of outdoor spaces and outdoor activities in supporting mental wellbeing, particularly during challenging times. The mental health charity's garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022, designed by an eight-time RHS Chelsea gold medal winner, is a testament to the potential of outdoor spaces to promote mental health and wellbeing.
